About AdinaWelcome to Adina, a family owned estate in the Lovedale area of the Hunter Valley. We are located on Lovedale Road – adjacent to Pokolbin and Rothbury and just 7 kilometres from Cessnock in the heart of the lower Hunter. While wines are at the centre of our operations, we also have our very popular Cafe Adina, 5 star self catering accommodation and the Adina Olive Centre. All up, it is an exciting experience to visit the estate. When it comes to wines, we have one simple objective – to produce great wines that our customers enjoy drinking or sharing with friends. We are on a journey of excellence - we want to have fun doing this, and to share the whole experience with our clients. We are inspired by the pioneers of the Hunter Valley – those who established Australia’s first vineyards here more than 180 years ago. Quality Award-winning WinesAdina Vineyard is a consistent producer of quality, medal-winning wines. Adina offers a wide selection of varieties from our estate. The modern vineyard was established in 1989 with one simple goal – to produce estate wines of the highest quality. You can buy these wines on-line and share the Adina experience. To buy click here. White Wines AvailableChardonnay – Beautiful peach and melon aromas with nut and lightly toasted oak. Semillon – A classic Hunter style with an aroma of lemons and limes, featuring a well balanced palate with excellent length. Verdelho – Luscious ripe tropical fruit flavours. Well balanced with a crisp finish. Pinot Grigio – Aromas of melon and tangerine with a touch of spice. Well balanced between fruitiness and acidity. Pinot Noir/Chardonnay – Crisp subtle apple aroma with lots of bubbles. Made in the traditional way. Delicious. Red Wines AvailableRose – Thirst quenching floral aroma with undertones of strawberries complementedby a hint of liquorice and a touch of spice. Shiraz – Plummy fruit flavour and a palate showing subtle traces of pepper, vanilla and leather. We currently are featuring both an estate Shiraz as well as a beautiful reserve Shiraz. Petit Verdot – Great colour and spicy characters in a full-bodied wine. Often blended with the Cabernet varieties to give colour and flavour, but succlient as a single varietal as well. Sangiovese – The great Italian favourite. Our Sangiovese is a beautifully balanced dry wine with flavours of blackberry and raspberry. Luscious! Merlot – Rich plummy dark berry fruit flavours with a generous, fleshy fruit palate and a subtle tannin structure. The Cabernets – A glorious blend of four different wines that is superb now and will continue to develop int the bottle. Trophy winner. Adina Wine ClubWe invite you to join our wine club to enjoy special buys and members discounts. Our wine club members can also earn “Frequent Buyer” points through purchases that can be redeemed in free accommodation in our executive style guest lodges. Adina AccommodationWe have luxury self-catering lodges that offer superior wine country accommodation in our beautiful vineyard. Stay for a day or a week in the luxurious Adina lodges. Each lodge has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate groups up to 6 people per lodge. The lodges are equipped with kitchen and dining facilities, gas BBQ’s, air conditioning, fireplace and entertainment units. Every bedroom has its own en-suite and 4 bedrooms have spas. Take a swim in our relaxing swimming pool. We are working hard to ensure that you and your friends have an enjoyable and memorable stay in our beautiful vineyard. It incorporates wine, table olives and olive oil tastings and sales, together with a retail outlet and wine storage facilities. We also have a private tasting room used for larger groups and conferences. Our Adina Cafe is also located in the same facility. Visitors can relax, enjoy the view of the Brokenback Ranges whilst enjoying fine wines, fresh olive oil and beautiful meals. We are open 7 days between 10 am and 5 pm (cafe is closed on Monday and Tuesday). The Adina Olive CentreWe also have an olive grove of over 2000 trees comprising 8 different varieties.
